My First Writing Class!!!

Hello blogs! Welcome to my first wordpress hehehe. Actually this wordpress is made specially to APSIA’s task hehe because it is too impossible if I use my old blog.
Kay, now I want to tell you about my first class in APSIA last week. It was my first training class in APSIA. It was so memorable and I had have fun there.
My first class is writing class. I was very exciting. In our first writing class, we have 2 sessions of how to be a good writer and about creative learning. In the first session, we got Kak Diego, the student of FIB UI that now is in progress to make a final project (good luck kak!) and also the writer of the novel ‘blablabla’. And we also had bang Boim, one of the characters in LUPUS and also he is the writer of sooooo many novels that maybe we all know them. And in the second session, we had kak Arry and kak Windy as our speakers. Kak Arry is the student of FT UI and he is the article writer that successfully got so many awards. And the last, we had kak Windy, the editor and also the writer of so many novels. She is also often be the speaker of how to be a creativewriter.
In the first session,  I learned about how to be success writer through following your passion. He told us not to be a looser so he gave us some tips and tricks how to be a good and inspiring writer:
  1. You may not be able to cry If that can’t be a royalty for you
  2. There is no exception for the things that we like. So, if you like something, there is no reason to do it
  3. There is no a high-dream, there is a lack of effort
  4. Do not ever give yourself a limitation
  5. If you want to do something, you must find out you uniqueness
  6. If you want to start write something, you must know correctly who is your target that will read your text
  7. Do something you like consistently and continuesly
  8. Be more creative
  9. Art is so cliché so you have to know how the best way to present that.
He was also gave us 6 things that must be remember if we want to be a creativewriter:
1. diction and style
2. viewpoint
3. dialogue and narration
4. characterization
5. showing or telling
6.do  research
in the first session, beside Kak Diego, we also had Bang Boim, the writer of LUPUS. He thought us about how to be an inspiring writer. There are some tips and tricks that he gave us:
  1. We have to work on what we knoe. We have to explore them and find out what we have’nt know yet
  2. We have to know what is our strength and what is our weakness. So we can explore ourselves to be better one
  3. If you want to start write something, you have to learn and know what is the phenomena that happened around us\
  4. We have to cleaverly combine the characters that we have.

In the second session, we had kak Ali Rahmawan and Mbak Windy.
Ali Rahmawan is the student of faculty of engineering at university of Indonesia. He is the socialpreneur. He told us to always follow our passion and do what we like. So, we can get the double successful. In the last year, he successfully released 500 articles, 5 books and got 25 awards. He also have his own website,www.arryrahmawan.net and his own publisher.
He gave us 3 tips to be good writer: focus on what we do, act, and respect to time. He was also said that if we wanto to be a writer, do not ever think about other things except you only want to share what you know to other through your text. The last sentence that he said is, to be a good writer, we have to read a lot and write a lot.
And this is the last session. Mbak Windy, the writer and editor at Gagas Mesdia publisher as the speaker. In this session, I learned practically how to be creativewriter. First, I learned how to be a fast writer through  tell everyone about my future. And next we learned to be creativewriter with build a story through 6 words only. For example, the legend six-words-sotry from Ernest Hemmingwey. For sale: Baby’s Shoes Never Worn. It is actually a sad story that told us about a couple that really want to have a baby but they never had. after that, she though us some tips and tricks:
  1. We heave to write what we know with unusual way
  2. Do not ever reject the change, because it will ‘kill’ yourself
  3. Read a lot to get more inspiration
  4. Write down your ideas wherever and whenever you are in a note
  5. You have to practice to write quickly
  6. If you want to write something, you have to make a plots that answered the cause and effect things. You also have to tell something once.
  7. You have to know what is happening around you to get the right theme that has booming in community
  8. And the last, she told us that creativity is made by a question not from a statement.
Those are all about that I got from my first writing class in apsia. It was so inspiring and insightful. Thankyou APSIA :)
